Atilgan changes to the Greifswald FC - return to the regional league!

Greifswald, Deutschland - Osman Atilgan, 25, has finally found a new club and stays in the Regionalliga Northeast! After his summer exit from Lok Leipzig, he has now signed a contract with Greifswald FC until 2026, the vice champion last season. The wing racer was pleased with the change: "I am very happy that it worked. I had very good conversations with the trainer and know many players from previous stations."

The Greifswald FC has now reorganized after turbulent times when they separated from sports director David Wagner and the coaches Lars Fuchs and René Lange. Markus Zschiesche, previously active in Babelsberg and Würzburg, becomes the new head coach and also received a contract until 2026. Greifswald is currently in 7th place in the league, 13 points behind leaders Lok Leipzig. Both teams meet on November 3 - the reunion with Atilgan should be exciting!
