Middle bus fire on A1: Stauchaos between Bargteheide and Bad Oldesloe!

On Thursday morning, October 17th, a fire broke out in a minibus on Autobahn 1 towards Lübeck. The fire brigade was deployed between the Cross of Bargteheide and Bad Oldesloe from 10.45 a.m. Fortunately, according to the integrated regional control center South (IRLS) there were no injuries. At 11.20 a.m. the fire could be brought under control.

The highway remains closed, however, which leads to considerable traffic jams in the area. At lunchtime, the ADAC reported an approximately three -kilometer backlog between the Ahrensburg and Bad Oldesloe junction, with an Estimated Time Delay of about an hour.
