Optimal equilibrium training: key to better health!
Optimal equilibrium training: key to better health!
The first results of a study at the University of Magdeburg show that both under and overwhelming in equilibrium training impair motor services. In order to achieve optimal effects, the equilibrium tasks must be precisely coordinated and integrated into everyday exercises. An example of this is running on a slackline, although this method is not suitable for everyone.
The main inspection with 60 subjects is currently still in the evaluation. The researchers hope to gain knowledge about how targeted equilibrium training influences the brain structure and function. The aim is to develop tailor -made training programs that promote both physical and mental health. The results are to be presented in July 2025 at the European College of Sport Science in Glasgow, the largest congress for sports science in Europe.
