Livan Burcu, just 19 years old, has experienced a moment that he longed for: his first goal for 1. FC Magdeburg. With a proud smile, after his goal in the convincing 4-0 win against Nuremberg, he ran into the fan curve, where he was duly celebrated. "Those who have known me for a long time know that I often hook. Left, right and back again until I finally find a gap. This time it worked," reveals the loan player from Union Berlin his "goal secret".

The gate was a huge relief for Burcu. "I absolutely wanted to shoot this goal, and it was just good. Week after week we have these fantastic fans who accompany us everywhere. Sesting a goal for them makes me happy." This enthusiasm for football and the connection to the fans are of great importance for him. His feelings of happiness are noticeable, both on the square and next to it.

From the beginning, Burcu felt a special connection to his new home, the 1st FC Magdeburg. "I feel very comfortable in Magdeburg. I get along with the team super. The fans, the atmosphere, the supervisors - everything is just incredibly fun. The city is relaxed and I have finally found an apartment," he says with joy about the positive change in his life. In a new environment in which he feels comfortable, he can also develop better and show his skills.

In the near future, however, Burcu will have little time to enjoy the beauty of the city. He was appointed to the Turkish U21 national team and is looking forward to the upcoming European Championship qualifiers against Ireland and San Marino. "Generally, when you play for your country, I proudly fill it. I look forward to it. The goal gives me additional buoyancy," he explains motivated. He hopes that his success in the club could also have a positive impact on his national team career.

While the fans celebrate him as a new favorite player in Magdeburg, the young striker stays on the floor with his feet and focuses on his next challenges. His first goal in the season not only shows his individual brilliance, but also that he has become an important part of the team. Burcu is determined to give his best in the future and to continue to inspire the trailers.
