University Medicine Magdeburg: 198 new freshmen start!

At the University Medical Center Magdeburg, the winter semester 2024/25 has officially started, and 198 new students in the human medicine course celebrate their enrollment! These include 42 state children who start their medical training full of energy. In addition, 11 students have taken the master's degree in immunology.

In an exciting introductory event, Studieskan Prof. Dr. Christoph Lohmann the freshmen. The new students can look forward to exciting introductory days in which they not only sniff the campus air, but also get valuable insights into the study organization, library work and e-learning. The first introductory lectures will begin in the first week, and the official start of the semester will be on the program on October 14th. In addition, the sixth “great general practitioner” with 11 students from the country doctor quota will gain practical experience in general medicine medicine, organized by Dr. Robin John in the Hirwira competence center.
