Rescue operation in Ulmbach: Fire brigade practices for an emergency!
Steinau an der Straße, Deutschland - In a spectacular use, several fire departments in Steinau on the street tried their reaction to an adopted workshop fire. The large -scale exercise took place around the petrol station in the Ulmbach district, where the Ulmbach fire brigade under the direction of Markus Leibold and the deputy military leader Jannis Müller carried out a complex scenario. Supported by surrounding weirs, a total of 38 emergency services with seven vehicles were mobilized to demonstrate human rescue, fire fighting and technical help.
When the fire brigade arrives, two people were spotted on a balcony who were saved with the help of a portable ladder. Four missing employees who were successfully saved under respiratory protection were also staged in the smoky workshop. In order to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings, fire fighting and a bar position was set up. The exercise, which provided important findings for the emergency, ended with a positive feedback from city fire inspector Stefan Matthäus, who praised the emergency services for their commitment.
