Attack on the train of line S6: Sacrifice with pepper spray sprayed and beaten up

In the afternoon of June 27th, a terrible incident was reported to two 21-year-olds in a train on line S6 from Mainz to Mannheim. An unknown attacker sprayed pepper spray on the passengers and then they were attacked by several accompanying persons of the perpetrator. This is an alarming incident that questions the safety of the rail travelers.

Brutal attack occurred around 4:45 p.m., shortly before Alsheim, when the passengers sat in the front compartment of the train. The victims were not only faced with pepper spray, but also physically attacked, which led to injuries.

The Worms police are now urgently asking for testimony or information that could lead to the identification of the perpetrators. Anyone who has seen or heard is asked to report to the authorities on 06241/852-0 or by email to piworms@polizei.rlp.de.

It is worrying that such violent acts take place in public transport and endanger the safety of passengers. It is important that the perpetrators are quickly caught and held accountable to prevent such incidents in the future and to ensure the safety of passengers.
