Nagelsmann's secret weapon: Six debutants in the Nations League!
national coach Julian Nagelsmann surprises the football world with his contingent for the Nations League! In the upcoming games against Bosnia and the Netherlands, he brings six debutants into play that have never played an international match. The fans should expect exciting encounters on Friday at 8:45 p.m. (RTL) in Zenica and three days later in Munich.
One of the newcomers is Oliver Baumann, who finally gets the chance to play for the DFB team after years of hard work. "It is a huge dream that comes true," says Baumann. Janis Blaswich, who benefits from the violation of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, is also back in the team. Borussia Mönchengladbach's Tim Kleindienst and FSV Mainz 05 captain Jonathan Burkardt can also hope for exciting debuts. "Germany must have incredibly strong attackers when we do without him," states his trainer. Jamie Leweling and Alexander Nübel complete the ranks of the new faces in the squad. While Leweling sees his strength in speed and goal, Nübel has the opportunity to stand in the goal on Saturday, now that Manuel Neuer Weg is.
The tension increases and the fans can look forward to great games and possibly impressive debuts! More on this at www.ligaportal.at
