Main test of the Diffené Bridge: full closure from October 14th!
On Monday, October 14th, the comprehensive main exam of the Diffenébrücke begins in Mannheim, which connects the Luzenberg with the Friesenheim island. The test will be carried out by Tuesday, October 15, 6 p.m. and requires a complete blocking of the bridge, including lanes and all walking and bike paths.
In order to steer traffic during the closure, a detour route has been set up, which leads via Industriestrasse, Inselstraße, Kammerschleuse-Drehbrücke and Friesenheimer Straße. This regular building test is crucial in order to ensure the long -term traffic safety and functionality of the bridge constructions, as explained by the city of Mannheim.
