Modernization of the Frankfurt-Mannheim railway line begins: more traffic safety sought

The modernization of the main route Frankfurt-Mannheim begins today, and Deutsche Bahn plans to extensively renovate the connection by mid-December. This step is part of a larger project to modernize 40 heavily frequented corridors in the German rail network until 2030.

The extensive renovation work includes the renewal of tracks, overhead lines, signals, soft, bridges and train stations along the route.
