Traffic accident in Mendig: car driver switched to curb!

On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, a dramatic traffic accident in Mendig occurred at the intersection of Schulstraße/Keltenstraße at 3:50 p.m. A car driver was on the school road when another vehicle driver took her right of way and turned off the Keltenstrasse. In order to avoid an impact, the driver got on a high curb, which severely damaged her rim.

The fleeing car, a small red car or SUV, continued his journey and turned into the street at the cemetery. The police are now investigating the driver of the fleeting vehicle and asks witnesses to report to the Mayen police inspection on 02651-8010.
