Car fire in Bad Doberan: Police are investigating arson!

on September 28, 2024, shortly after 10:00 p.m., broke on a sand parking lot on John-Brinkmann-Str. A mysterious car fire in Bad Doberan. For an unknown cause, a car was on fire, and the fire quickly turned to a neighboring vehicle. Both cars were completely destroyed, while a third car only caused slight damage due to the heat. The entire property damage is estimated at around 30,000 euros.

The Bad Doberan volunteer fire brigade reacted quickly and was able to delete the fire. Ten firefighters were on site with two emergency vehicles to control the situation. In the meantime, the criminal service from Rostock has taken over the investigation and ensured the burned -out vehicles for the cause of the fire. Since external negligence cannot be excluded, the police are investigating suspected arson. Witnesses who can provide information are asked to contact the Bad Doberan police department.
