Serious accident on B 104: Driver dies after the vehicle overload!

On Friday evening, October 11, 2024, a tragic traffic accident occurred on the B 104 between Gadebusch and Holdorf. At around 7:00 p.m., a 58-year-old Ford driver lost control of his vehicle for previously unknown reasons, fell off the road in a right curve and fell into a ditch. The car overturned and came to lie on the side. The driver was caught in the vehicle and had to be released by the volunteer fire brigade.

Despite the quick intervention of a rescue helicopter and immediate resuscitation attempts, the man died at the scene of the accident. An expert from Dekra was consulted to determine the cause of the accident. The B 104 remained closed to traffic until 11:30 p.m., while rescue and recovery measures were carried out. The total damage is estimated at around 30,000 euros.
