World shipping day: Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania celebrates with flag sea!

On September 26, 2024, the time has come: The International Sea Evilage Organization (IMO) calls out the world shipping day! In a solemn act, Interior Minister Christian Pegel ordered the flagship of all departments in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

From the picturesque Hanseatic cities of Wismar, Rostock, Stralsund and Greifswald to the harbor cities on the Baltic Sea coast-in the districts of Northwest Mecklenburg, Rostock as well as Vorpommern-Rügen and Vorpommern-Greifswald, the state service and federal flag is proudly raised. A clear sign of appreciation for the maritime industry and the importance of shipping in the region!
