Around 11:30 p.m., a 21-year-old Afghan man and a 16-year-old Syrian youth came into a violent argument. The older man then attacked the younger physically. The situation escalated when the companion of the 16-year-old, including two German women aged 14 and 18, intervened.

The police were alerted and was able to stop the attacker's group of four near Eisenbahnstrasse. During the check, it turned out that the 21-year-old had a breath alcohol content of 1.84 per thousand. The Güstrow criminal police are now investigating whether he was also threatening with a knife. A procedure for dangerous bodily harm and threats is carried out against him.
