Müller in Gägelow: drugstore hit with 27,000 customers since the opening!

The drugstore chain Müller opened its first branch in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on August 29, 2024-and the start in Gägelow at Wismar is a resounding success! Over 27,000 customers have already explored the extensive range of 1,745 square meters, with three out of four sales on drugstore items. The large selection of cosmetics, hygiene products and even toys attracts young families in particular. The staff has increased from 14 to 24 employees, which underlines the positive development.

But how is Müller going on in MV? There are currently no plans for other locations in the region, but actively looking for suitable objects. However, the prerequisites for new branches are high: cities should have at least 75,000 inhabitants and can offer a shop area of 1,000 to 2,500 square meters. An independent specialist market only needs 800 square meters, but the surrounding area should include grocery stores and other shops.
