Serious accident in Neubrandenburg: Cyclists are recorded by car

on September 24, 2024, around 9:15 a.m., a serious traffic accident occurred in Neubrandenburg. An 81-year-old cyclist who drove from Weidenweg towards the city center overlooked a green traffic light when crossing Neustrelitzer Straße and collided with a car that drove at high speed towards Friedrich-Engels-Ring. Despite an immediately initiated danger braking of the 31-year-old driver, the collision could not be prevented.

The cyclist suffered serious head injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital by an ambulance. Due to the mission, Neustrelitzer Straße was closed in a city of all an hour.
