New residential area planned: Panke district book with 650 apartments in Buch-Süd

New residential area "Panke-Quartier Buch": Early participation of the citizens by August 1, 2024

In the Buch-Süd district, planning for a new residential area called "Panke Quartier Buch" is in full swing. With around 650 planned apartments, the quarters are to be built in the coming years. The early participation of the public runs until August 1, 2024 to give the citizens the opportunity to express their suggestions and concerns.

Interview of the development plan
Interested parties can view the draft of the development plan in the Pankow urban development office (Storkower Straße 97, 10407 Berlin), in the Bucher Bürgerhaus and online. Opening times in the urban development office are MO-MI from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Fri from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A personal explanation is possible by telephone on Tel.: (030) 90295-3581.

Furthermore, the planning documents in Bucher Bürgerhaus, Franz-Schmidt-Str. 8-10, 13125 Berlin, posted on the 2nd floor. The "Panke Quartier Buch"
The new residential area is being built on a long time unused areas between the future Pankpark and the existing residential quarters on Wolfgang-Heinz-Straße. The state -owned housing association Gesobau is planning the construction, whereby at least half of the apartments should be affordable.

This area was planned as a location for housing since the 1980s. With the "Buch-Süd framework plan" in 2020, the development of these areas was decided, whereby the concepts were intensively discussed and revised. In addition to residential areas, another daycare center, green spaces and public road traffic areas are planned to open up the area.
