FC Memmingen U21: Preparation for the Landesliga season in focus

The newly formed U21 team of FC Memmingen is struggling through their test games to optimally prepare for the upcoming Landesliga season. In a recent friendly against the Württemberg national league team TSV Buch, the players had to fight with an unexpected opponent: a thunderstorm that interrupted the game and ultimately led to the demolition.

Although Luca Scarvaglieri took the lead for FC Memmingen II in the 33rd minute, Robin Egle from TSV Buch managed to turn the game with two goals (46./65.). A special highlight of the game was the operational readiness of the A-Junior goalkeeper Simon Dilba, who jumped into the goal for the injured Noah Kufner. With the newcomers Semih Nergiz, as well as the twin brothers Lucas and Nicolas Schmidt, the team continues to strengthen their formation for the coming season, while other external players are considered.

Preparation for the start of the point on June 27 against FC Gundelfingen is intensified by a fortified two -day tournament at FC Wangen. Trainer Markus Schaich plans to put the team against TSV Meckenbeuren and SV Oberzell through their paces in order to start the season in the best possible way.
