Generous donation: 10,000 euros for THW Jugend Memmingen - Successful E -Con run

1. New records at the "1st E-Con run" in Memmingen

After a successful Saturday, June 29, the organizers of the "1st E-Con Lauf" in Memmingen are enthusiastic about the response and cohesion of the participants. With a number of 300 runners, new records were set up and expectations were exceeded. This year not only the focus was on sporting competition, but also the social commitment and support of the THW Jugend Memmingen.

The E-Con run offered the participants the choice between two route lengths of five and ten kilometers. The team of four of the TV Memmingen won first place with an impressive time of 1:53:34 hours. There were also outstanding services in the individual ratings. Jana Schmid from TV Immenstadt and Katrin Barth from Memmingerberg took the first places among the women, while Bernhard Demmeler and Niklas Breimaier were successful in the men. The FC Memmingen team provided the largest group of participants with 24 runners.

In addition to the sporting competition, the focus was on solidarity with the THW youth. The generous donation of 10,000 euros, which was presented by Andreas Müller, the managing director of the Alois-Müller group, will make an important contribution to promoting youth work. It was impressive to see how companies, clubs and individuals could help support this initiative.

The organizers would like to thank all participants, sponsors and helpers who have contributed to the success of the run. The "1st E-Con Lauf" was not only a sporting event, but also a sign of solidarity and commitment in the community. We look forward to further successful events in the future.
