The 47th edition of the Memmingen Mile has started and brings cultural diversity into the city again this year. This year's program focuses on some key points to make room for the upcoming commemoration year 2025. Despite the smaller form of the event, the atmosphere at the opening in the courtyard of the Antonierhaus was full of joy.

This year's Memmingen Mile marks the beginning of a new concept for the city. Mayor Jan Rothenbacher emphasized the importance of the event in preparation for the big anniversary year 2025, in which the city will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the twelve peasant articles- a pioneering demand for human and freedom rights in Europe.

The opening ceremony in the Antonierhof attracted around 150 visitors who were enthusiastic about the musical performances by the DJ team Rhythm Fellows and the band Tribubu.
