In der Kappel, 87700 Memmingen, Deutschland - The Social Psychiatric Center (SPZ) in Memmingen celebrated a large reopening on Friday! After three years of renovation, the facility now shines in new splendor and offers barrier -free and expanded premises for people with mental illnesses. Over 60 guests were present at the celebration, including prominent representatives such as the deputy president of the Swabian district, Petra Beer, and Mayor Jan Rothenbacher.
In the new rooms, not only the social psychiatric service, but also the outstanding assistance services and the day care center for those affected find space. Thanks to the support of the lucky spiral, the kitchen and furniture of the day care center could be modernized, which significantly improves the quality of life of the visitors. Head of Roland Schaller was enthusiastic about the positive feedback from the guests: "We now simply have a very nice social psychiatric center." The successful renovations are a real step forward and offer new perspectives for age-appropriate services and job coaching programs in cooperation with the district hospital in Memmingen.
