Music students celebrate success with a voluntary performance test - town hall reception with awards
The music school in Memmingen recently had every reason to celebrate when over 40 children and young people proudly received their documents for the passed voluntary performance test (FLP). At a festive reception in the town hall, the hard -working musicians were personally honored by Mayor Jan Rothenbacher and Mayor Margareta Böckh.
The FLP is an important way for students of the music school to demonstrate their musical skills. The exams are taken in various levels of difficulty, with theoretical knowledge and practical skills being examined. There are a total of 35 instrumental compartments in which the exams can be taken. This year a total of 41 children and adolescents accepted the challenge of the FLP and mastered with flying colors. From the junior1 to the D2 exam, the young musicians showed what they can. It was particularly impressive that a child has even successfully passed the Junior 2 exam with two different instruments. Mayor Jan Rothenbacher praised the participants for their perseverance and their ambition. He emphasized how proud they can be on their achievements and encouraged them to further promote their musical talent. The successful test subjects were rewarded for their use with certificates, stickers and attachments and can now proudly present their achievements. The FLP is not only an important milestone for the individual musical development of the students, but also an opportunity to appreciate the commitment and passion for music in the community. The music school in Memmingen can be proud of its talented young musicians who have mastered the challenge of the FLP with diligence and operational readiness.
