On Friday, July 19, celebrations in Memmingen have the opportunity to relax by bus to the city festival. In cooperation with the Mittelwaben Transport Association (VVM) and the transport company BBS Brandner, the city of Memmingen is organizing inexpensive special line traffic in order to offer both the residents of the city and the surrounding communities.

Compared to the previous year, the tariffs for specialline traffic were not increased, although the costs for personnel and vehicles have increased. Thanks to the commitment of the city of Memmingen, both the districts and the surrounding communities can benefit from this service. A total of eight lines run in the urban area and the surrounding regions, which guarantees good connections.

The buses start every hour from 7 p.m. and therefore offer a comfortable arrival option until the early hours of the morning. The exact departure times and driving prices can be removed from the individual timetables. It is recommended to have the fare counted when you get started to ensure a smooth process.

New this year are the timetable information in real time via the DB Navigator and the Bayern timetable, which ensures additional comfort for passengers. It is possible to view the individual timetables per district or municipality on the VVM website at www.vvm-online.de/index/stadtfest.

student tickets, 49 euro tickets and other VVM travel cards are not recognized during the city festival. Unfortunately, group registrations are not possible, but children under the age of 6 can ride free of charge accompanied by an adult.
