Unterallgäu during the start: important construction projects for our future!
With an exciting tour, the members of the district and construction committee in the Unterallgäu learned more about current construction projects and future developments. District Administrator Alex Eder and experts from the district office presented the planned relocation of the branch office of the district office from Memmingen to Memmingerberg - a move that is scheduled for February next year. The construction of a new building for the vehicle technology department on Luxenhofer Strasse in Mindelheim was also presented.The construction site at the clinic received special attention, where a new functional building with operating theaters and circular halls is created, as well as the well -advanced energetic renovation work of the district office. These include new windows and a modern heat composite system that is intended to give the building from 1986 new efficiency. A highlight of the tour was the Allgäu Airport, where an innovative Greentech Hub is created. This center for green technologies and digitization, which will be accessible to startups from mid -2025, will be realized by four Allgäu companies and is intended to promote sustainable growth in the Region.
