DJK UNITAS HAAN starts brilliantly with a canter victory against Wipperfürth!

A spectacle that captivated the audience! The handball players from DJK Unitas Haan burned a real fireworks display at their first game of the new season and shot SV Wipperfürth out of the hall with 38:18. From the first minute it was clear: here the regional league relegation plays in another league!

With an impressive 4: 1 Unitas quickly put on the reins. Lara Terhardt set the first exclamation mark right from the start. After only four minutes she scored the first goal - and that was just the beginning! The unstoppable run of Unitas meant that the advantage quickly grew to 10: 4. But a short swallowing gave Wipperfürth the chance to find back into the game. Lara Armann reduced to 8:11 with a seven meter - and hope germinated. But the strong Haan team quickly got up again and then celebrated a real handball festival!

The showing of the Unitas leads to the triumph

Trainer Christian Peters was at the start and satisfied in themselves, but gave room for improvement. "We have to work on the vote," he emphasized. After the first half, his team showed that they are in top shape - from 12: 9 (21st minute) they pulled away to 22:10 (36th minute). Thanks to the overnight number - Wipperfürth had only traveled with eight players - Unitas cheerfully changed and gave all players valuable time. A clever move!

The protective gear was quickly deactivated! Unitas Haan dominated the action and sent the guests to the losing road. When Mona Reckels increased to 30:14 in the 48th minute, the winning victory was dry. The team knew how to classify the victory. "We are satisfied with the appearance, but we know that stronger opponents are waiting in the coming weeks," says Peters farsighted.

The full commitment for Unitas haan

A look at the players proves: there is a lot of talent here! The appearance of Kasper in the goal, together with the goal scorers Terhardt (2), Reckels (6), Engel (6), Strelau (7), Matzanke (2), Vollmer (4/1) and many others made the team not only for victory, but also an experience on the field. A successful debut in the new season!
