Funding for Mettmann: Secure 49 projects against loneliness until November!

Applications can be submitted by the beginning of November as part of the state program "2,000 x 1,000 euros for commitment". Since 2021, 2000 projects have been supported annually that stand out through voluntary work, and for 2024 there are two million euros available to strengthen the community. The district of Mettmann has secured a total of 49,000 euros, which means 49 funding opportunities - and according to current information, about a third of them are still available!

The current round of funding is particularly aimed at projects that are under the motto "Committed to each other-du+we = one--North Rhine-Westphalia against loneliness". The aim is to preserve people from social isolation - because loneliness knows no age and meets everyone. Important: The projects may only be started after approval and must be implemented by the end of the year. The necessary application forms can be found on the website www.engagementfoerderung.nrw.
