Schliersee, Deutschland - District Administrator Olaf von Löwis will not run for another term. He announced this to the extended CSU district board on Tuesday evening. After six years in office, at the time of the local elections in March 2026, the 69-year-old district administrator resigned, with which the CSU proposes the long-time Mayor of Schlierse Franz Schnitzenbaumer as the successor.
