Esprit bankruptcy: huge sale in Ratingen - bargain hunt started!

The German Mode giant Esprit is for sale after the company filed for bankruptcy in summer. The entire inventory of the company is now being auctioned with the upcoming closure of all 56 branches by the end of November, which affect around 1,300 jobs. This includes office equipment, furniture and a fleet of 40 cars. The first two online auctions are already listed on the platform www.ht-kg.de, while a third auction is in preparation. Registered users can also bid until October 29th.

The offers for several VW Golf are particularly interesting, which are auctioned from around 4,000 euros. Two Audis are also on offer. There are also bargains such as flat screens for less than 100 euros and solid wood bar stools from 80 euros. Visits take place on October 10th. Buyers have to pick up all objects themselves if they are awarded the contract. The handling of the ESPRIT business marks the end of an era in the fashion industry, which was still shaped by a variety of esprit branches a few years ago.
