Leipzig's Star Xavi Simons after op optimistic: soon back!
München, Deutschland - rb Leipzig's superstar Xavi Simons has undergone a “small intervention” in Munich after a painful ankle injury. The Dutch international, who suffered the injury to the Champions League game against Liverpool FC, will now be missing from the team for several weeks. Simons injured himself after 70 minutes after he kinked unhappily and finally had to be replaced in the 78th minute - supported by his supervisors.
Despite the setbacks, the 21-year-old is optimistic on his social media: "Every fall is a lesson, and every increase brings you closer to your goals. Thank you for the news! I will be back soon and, believe me," he expresses his unshakable fighting spirit. RB Leipzig will have to do without his creative playmaker in the coming weeks while he is on the way of improvement.
