Oktoberfest Courage Prize: For civil courage, a high on Joerg Kübelsbeck!
At this year's Wiesn Awards, Jörg Kübelsbeck received the Oktoberfest Courage Prize, which is awarded by the Condrobs organization for civil courage and commitment to a peaceful festival. Mayor Dieter Reiter paid his respect and emphasized the importance of respecting each other, not only during the Oktoberfest. Kübelsbeck sees it as a human duty to become active in critical situations by addressing and helping those affected.
The jury, consisting of prominent personalities such as the actors Stefan Murr and Johanna Bittenbinder, selected Kübelsbeck from several suggestions. In recognition of his deed, he received traditional leather pants. When asked whether he was even more attentive through the price, Kübelsbeck replied that he has always been doing this anyway. This award is intended to serve as inspiration for others to also work, according to the Echo from Reiter. For more details, see the current reporting at www.br.de .
