Gas exit in Neu-Ulm: Dramatic evacuation after gardening!

on Saturday morning, around 11:30 a.m., a gas leak in the garden of an apartment building in Neu-Ulm alerted the police and rescue workers. A resident apparently damaged a gas line during gardening, which led to an acoustically perceptible gas leakage. Evacuation measures were initiated in the area, and traffic disabilities were temporarily.

The fire brigade was able to quickly park the gas pipeline, which caused the gas to only escape for a short time. After extensive measurements, in which the Ulm Stadtwerke were also involved, it was confirmed that the affected residential buildings could be safely entered again.
