Around 2:50 p.m. the man overtook several vehicles between the Neubrandenburg Ost and Neubrandenburg North junctions, which led to a dramatic collision with a truck.

According to the police, there was a failed re-trace during the overtaking process. This fatal situation followed a violent impact that made the car of the person causing the accident to skid. The police spokesman reported that the vehicle was roaming the center protection schedule and was thrown to the right via the lanes. It broke through the banquets and finally ended up in the game protection fence where there was a standstill.

The 79-year-old was transported to the hospital in Neubrandenburg with serious injuries.
