First Rugby Supering Turner in Neubrandenburg: Excitement on the Broda beach
The Neubrandenburg Rugby Association has already celebrated numerous successes this year that touch not only the members of the association, but also the entire community. On Saturday this commitment will continue with the first "Neubrandenburg Beach Cup" on Brodaer Strand. In view of the increasing popularity of rugby sport in the region, the tournament will not only be a sporty highlight at the end of the season, but also an event that brings together the local community.
A new dimension of rugby sports
For several years the Neubrandenburg Rugby Association has been playing under the roof of SV Turbine and has made remarkable progress during this time. The team of the four-goal city joins the world of beaches with the laughing tournament, which begins at 10.30 a.m.-a dynamic modification of the traditional game, which usually takes place on sand fields and is particularly known for their intensive playing style. "It doesn't get easy in the sand, it depends on endurance and technology," emphasizes coach Armin Sachse.
Teams and competition
On the Brodaer Strand, a total of five teams will compete in any other mode, whereby each encounter will consist of two times five minutes. In addition to the host team, teams from Oranienburg, Berlin and Brandenburg also fight for the title. The tournament is particularly interesting by the mixteam from Magdeburg and Neuenkirchen, which was formed on the basis of personnel bottlenecks. The short -term collaboration of the teams offers an exciting dynamic and shows the flexibility and spirit of the rugby.
Gain experience
Before the Lieachturnier, the "turbines" were already able to gain valuable experience at a tournament in Warnemünde, where they had to prevail against the later winners, which, however, brought valuable findings about their own game and team dynamics. "We want to make as few mistakes as possible at our home tournament and test ourselves," continued Sachse. Although the objectives are modest, the main focus is on promoting the team and sport in general.
Invitation
The upcoming tournament not only serves as a sporting end of the season, but also as an ideal opportunity for the public to get to know rugby sport. Armin Sachse calls the population to visit the Broda beach and familiarize themselves with the sport. Apart from the game, entertainment is also provided, for example through face painting, so that it remains exciting for younger visitors. The event promises to strengthen the sense of community and shows how Sportos can promote community and cohesion.
