Ten months after the brutal attack on a 19-year-old in an apartment, the district court made a decisive decision: the 18-year-old, who acted as an accomplice and only made access to the apartment easier, was given away with a money.

On Monday, ahead of judge Manfred Thiemontz, the young man admitted: "At first I didn't know that it was about an attack!" The three perpetrators had gathered at the staircase on the said evening, November 26, and yet planned a cruel deed that changed the life of the victim forever.

The Brutal Attack

According to the indictment, the fateful trio gave the 19-year-old hell on earth, apparently motivated by open debts. The 38-year-old main perpetrator hit the victim's face like a berserk with a whipping ring, which led to terrible injuries and a hospital stay. The prey? Valuable items worth around 7000 euros, including a gold watch and a luxurious handbag!

It was also known that an attentive neighbor heard the loud screams despite the television noise and promptly alerted the police. "I saw two men on the door, but I didn't dare to intervene. Too dangerous!" the 42-year-old described the tense Situation in court.

The only confession and the following

While his accomplices are already in custody, the 18-year-old fought alone. He stayed at a strange distance from the brutal events, but admitted that he opened the door for the victim. "I only heard the scream and thought that something bad was going on," said the accused. But his guilty conscience was not enough to help him in time!

His role was considered crucial: "A money was given for his participation in the crime. Actually, the sum should actually be 500 euros, but the court considered that insufficiently," reported a spokesman. Ultimately, the 18-year-old now has to pay 1,000 euros that will benefit the White Ring for the support of victims of crime. With an income of 1200 euros net per month, this becomes a serious financial problem for him.

The two main perpetrators, on the other hand, still have a serious punishment in front of them: the investigators secured the entire prey, and the punishment can amount to 5 to 15 years in prison! Because as judge Manfred Thiemontz said: "They were involved in a very serious crime." What will be done with these criminals now?
