Furniture escape: Curious incidents employ the police

police dissolve bizarre situations

Sometimes even police officers are at a loss and have "a few question marks over their heads", as an unusual incident in Neubrandenburg shows. On Friday evening, a 35-year-old woman apparently felt disturbed by rattling roof shingles and quickly decided to tear them out of the window and throw them on the street. The police had to intervene and file a complaint for property damage. The damage incurred is estimated at around 50 euros.

Only a day later there was a similar incident, but this time to a greater extent. A young man apparently wanted to accelerate his move and threw furniture and other objects from the sixth floor of a building on Cölpiner Straße. The whole thing happened on Sunday afternoon, while children played nearby. Fortunately, nobody was injured.

The police could speak to the man who was insightful. However, it was not checked whether the overturned objects were still intact at the bottom. These curious incidents show how unexpectedly and bizarre the work of the police can sometimes be.
