Picasso in Neumarkt: Masterpieces of the Klewan collection from November 3!

In the Museum Lothar Fischer in Neumarkt, a spectacular exhibition with works by Pablo Picasso will be seen from November 3, 2024 to February 16, 2025. The vernissage takes place on the opening day at 2 p.m., led by collector Helmut Klewan and museum director Dr. Pia Dornacher. This special show celebrates the 50th anniversary of the death of the master and presents outstanding pieces from the Klewan collection, including works on the topics of "artists and model", "scenes on the beach" and "Myths: Minotaur and Faun".

Picasso, one of the most important artists of the 20th century, is brought together in Neumarkt posthumously with Lothar Fischer, the founder of the museum. Special highlights are Picassos portraits, which are often more inspired by its imagination than direct models. Among other things, portraits by the art dealer Ambroise Vollard and the poet Max Jacob and Arthur Rimbaud can be seen. The museum is open on Wednesdays to Fridays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Further information can be found in the museum's press release on www.onetz.de .
