A shocking adventure had a Neunkirchner couple experienced in the early morning of September 9, when they were traveling with the dog of the brother -in -law on a bike path between Breitenau and Loipersbach. What started like a peaceful walk turned into an unexpected encounter with "wolves".

around 8.15 a.m., the sun fought through the clouds, Peter Stuppacher and his wife set off with her little terrier. But suddenly a threatening silhouette emerged in the distance - two large animals came directly towards them. "Hopefully these are not wolves," they thought concerned and went to panic.

The two unknowns followed the couple until shortly before the local board of Breitenau. "It was scary when the dogs came to us up to two meters," Stuppacher recalls the excited situation. But while the shape of the dogs initially caused fear, it quickly turned out: the supposed "wolves" were Huskys!

In an act of concern, Stuppacher chose the emergency call 133 and informed the office in Schwarzau am Steinfeld. The reaction was prompt! A young official quickly reached the couple and went in search of the two animals. The investigation showed that the huskies of a lady from the area belong. But the end of the story does not remain without consequences: According to the police information, the dog owner has to make a complaint under the dog owner law.

This experience is another example of how important it is to have your own animals under control and to control their behavior in public space. An exciting adventure that for the couple mostly ended without further incidents.
