40 years of brass: Festival service in St. Marien enthusiastic!

On Sunday, October 20, at 9:30 a.m., a festive service is celebrated in the parish church of St. Marien Sulzbach-Rosenberg on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the brass group. Founded in 1984 by Maria Boßle, the ensemble specializes in church music and is one of the few church wind groups in the Diocese of Regensburg. Together with the church choir, the brass designers shape the services in the parish and the branch churches.

Maria Boßle has developed countless winds with a lot of commitment, some of whom work as music educators and pass on the enthusiasm for the music to their students. The group received numerous awards through continuous rehearsal work and carried out significant appearances at home and abroad, including France, Scotland and Italy. The wind players are not only known for their musical achievements, but also maintain close friendships with other choirs, which contributes to a festive atmosphere in many church events. Their commitment to church music remains unbroken, and many members still run long distances today to provide their accompaniment to services. More on www.onetz.de .
