Ladies-Circle Weiden supports banana flank with a donation of 2,000 euros!

At a moving event on the football field of the DJK Neustadt, the Ladies-Circle Weiden handed over a generous donation check for over 2000 euros to the Bananen flank team. Under the direction of President Victoria Habermann and Vice President Lena Meier, the women showed their commitment to the community, despite her lack of football experience. The chairman of the Bananen flank team, Carina Völkl, gratefully accepted the donation and was able to support the team with new jerseys and travel costs for tournaments.

The money comes from various events of the service club, including the popular open-air cinema and the raffle at the Weiden Citizens' Festival. Victoria Habermann emphasized the joy of seeing directly how the donations are used: "It is always nice to see where and especially with whom the donations arrive."
