Grömitz celebrates the first Oktoberfest: a complete success in the guild hall!
The first Oktoberfest in Gildehalle took place in Grömitz and was a complete success! On the four days around the day of German unity, visitors flocked into the hall to celebrate the Bavarian tradition. Organizer Jörg Meier was enthusiastic about the high number of visitors and spoke of a successful start. Thanks to the support of local institutions, such as the tourism service and the fire brigade, this celebration could take place at all.
The guests dressed festively in dirndls and leather pants and enjoyed delicious Bavarian specialties such as Haxe, white sausage and fresh Oktoberfest beer. The atmosphere was consistently left out by the live music on the evenings, and it was danced extensively while happy polonaisen moved through the hall. Another Oktoberfest in the Gildhalle is already being planned for 2025. The anticipation for a next edition is already big! There is more information about this here .
