New shine for the BRG: modernization creates space for 40 classes
The BRG Gröhrmühlgasse in Wiener Neustadt has transformed into a modern and inviting learning environment with extensive renovation work. The new rooms are flooded with light and, in addition to generous gears, also offer large classrooms that now offer space for up to 40 classes and additional rooms for afternoon care. Headmaster Gerald Stachl noted that the space can be used optimally, especially in view of the impressive number of seven new first classes that start the school year.
The return of the school from a temporary location at the stadium area back to Gröhrmühlgasse was an elaborate logistics task: between 45 and 50 truck drives were required to transport furniture and materials. Stachl emphasized that the IT infrastructure was set up from mid-July before the actual furniture retention began on July 29. The school is particularly happy about the donation of office furniture from a Viennese law firm, which also changed its location. These furniture now find new use; For example, former files are now available for storing biological collections and chemical devices.
modern equipment and new rooms
Some of the highlights of the renovation include a large school library that invites you to read with cozy benches and armchair areas, as well as a new event hall that is equipped with a stage. In addition, an air exchange system was integrated in each classroom, which ensures a pleasant indoor climate. South side of the classrooms are even equipped with air conditioning systems in order to offer the students an optimal learning climate. The new terrace and the appealing courtyard not only offer opportunities to relax, but can also be used for outdoor teaching.
An outstanding feature of the innovations is the large gymnasium, which can be flexibly divided into three separate areas. This has a viewer balcony and will also be usable for sporting competitions. The new location of the administration and the teaching room is now in the so -called "villa", where a precious ceiling fresco was uncovered during the renovation work and now offers an atmospheric ambience.
Another innovative element is modern technologies in the classrooms. Instead of traditional boards, whiteboards and large touchscreen TVs are now available to promote interactive and efficient learning environment. These measures show that the BRG Gröhrmühlgasse is not only structurally at a high level, but is also characterized by technical progress in the educational landscape.
The transformation of the school at the beginning of the new school year is not only a physical move, but also a significant step towards a future -oriented educational infrastructure. The comprehensive renovation work has made the BRG Gröhrmühlgasse a modern place of learning that adapts to the needs of the students and teachers and at the same time offers a pleasant and functional environment.
