SG Wildenberg celebrates Derby victory: Abensberg misses surprise

In the current football map of the Donau/Laaber region, the teams in the district league and class are under the influence of the upcoming Gillamoos. The players have already put together their tunnels on Tuesdays and Mittelwochen to optimally prepare for the fair. While some teams cheer, others had to accept painful setbacks.

A special focus was on the exciting derby between SG Wildenberg/Biburg/Kirchdorf and TSV Neustadt, which ended with a convincing 3-0 for the home side and secured the first win of the season. The SG prevailed not only through its own strength, but also because the guests from Neustadt experienced an unfortunate day, including an own goal that was the start of the hits of Lukas Premesser and Matthias Weiß in the final phase.

Neustadt under pressure

After the match, department head Daniel Neubaur was visibly disappointed. He described the appearance of his team as unbalanced and spoke of a "used day". Just under a quarter of an hour before the final whistle, SG Kirchdorf achieved the first really dangerous chance. A brave appearance was easy to see in the air, but the implementation was missing.

In the meantime, TSV Abensberg fought

against SV Sallach, who came as leaders. In an exciting game, which was characterized by good football and intensive duels, Abensberg took the lead in the 56th minute by Christopher Börner. The team fought bravely to defend the lead, but in the dramatic stoppage time there was an unexpected equalization by Florinel Strungariu, who benefited from a corner and scored the network to 1-1. "We awarded the preliminary decision," summarized Manuel Heinrich, the sporting director of the TSV, the emotions after the game.

In this local derby, Abensberg failed due to the possibility of a big victory, while other teams in the league also stumbled. The SG Offenstetten/Rohr could only reach a draw against FC Hohenthann, despite two penalties in just seven minutes. It was an attempt to free himself from the table situation that did not fruit.

The big tremor for the table ranks

The SV Saal also remains without a win after he lost against SG Großmuß/Hausen. After a 3-1 result, you now have to deal with your services even more intensively. As the SG Sandharlanden/Bad Gögging shows in the derby against TSV Abensberg II, it is no longer uncommon for teams to gamble away great advantages this year. Abensberg II was able to run 3-0 in the first half, but in the end the game ended 3: 3 - as an exciting example of the fighting spirit in this league.

In another encounter, a decision was made in the final phase when TV Aiglsbach II scored the winning goal in the 87th minute thanks to a free kick. It was once more evident that every moment in these games can be decisive.

The results of the A-Class Kelheim and Mainburg also draw attention to the dynamics of the league. Fighting is tirelessly fought on the field, while the coaches and players develop the tactical folds and moves that can ensure a memorable Gillamoos.
