District Administrator Hallerbach thanks learning sponsors in Neuwied

A big thank you to the committed learning sponsors in the district of Neuwied

In the Neuwied district, the annual learning patent day was recently celebrated. District Administrator Achim Hallerbach thanked the 44 voluntary learning patients for their valuable commitment. The learning sponsor has existed since 2011 and is carried out as a joint project of the district administration of Neuwied and the Caritas Association Rhein-Wied-Sieg e.V.

The project aims to support students with special needs. It is not just about school content such as reading and writing, but also about social skills and everyday questions. The learning sponsors make an important contribution to the development of children.

District Administrator Achim Hallerbach praised the extraordinary commitment of the learning sponsors and emphasized the positive effect on the academic achievements and the self -confidence of the children. Ulrike Proft from the Caritas Association also paid tribute to the learning sponsors and emphasized that they are shaping the future.

As part of the learning patent day, three particularly committed learning sponsors were honored: Heidrun Kaß for ten years, Tirzah Gutwein and Frank Schmickler for five years each. Afterwards, the guests were able to take part in an interesting tour of the Museum of Human Behavioral Research, which offered an exciting insight into human history.

The learning patent day also offered the participants the opportunity to exchange and network. District Administrator Hallerbach also encouraged other people to get involved as learning sponsors and thus make a positive contribution to the education and development of children.
