Burglary in Unkel: Unknown perpetrators steals valuables!

in Unkel, a brazen burglary caused excitement in the morning hours of April 24th. Between 07:49 and 8:04 a.m., an unknown perpetrator gained access to a free -standing family home in Siebengebirgsstrasse, which is equipped with video surveillance. After he rang the doorbell to find out if someone was at home, he broke up the cellar door and ransacked the rooms on the ground and upper floor.

The burglar was able to steal cash and valuable jewelry worth several thousand euros before escaping undetected. The police describe the perpetrator as male, aged 25 to 40, with a Western European or Southeast European appearance. He was wearing a black angel bouquet jacket, black work accident trousers and sneakers as well as a white hoodie. Notes on his whereabouts are urgently requested!
