Serious accident on Neubörgerstrasse: 25-year-old life-threatening

A terrible traffic accident occurred on Neubörgerstrasse today at 11:40 a.m. A 25-year-old woman who was traveling in a VW Passat wanted to overtake two vehicles when she suddenly got left off the road and crashed into a tree with full force. The reason for this devastating outbreak remains unclear.

The young driver was seriously injured and was caught in her car. However, courageous forces from the volunteer fire brigades Dörpen, Börger and Spahnharrenstätte were able to free them quickly. The seriously injured woman was immediately taken to a hospital with a rescue helicopter. Neubörgerstrasse was completely closed until around 4:30 p.m., while the rescue measures and the accident recording were carried out.
