Colorful buses for the region: Wildeshauser Geest shines in new splendor!
Wildeshausen, Deutschland - The Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park recently launched a creative advertising campaign: three buses were filmed with regional sights, including images of two beavers, parts of the Pestruper Gräberfeld, an indication of the Glan bride and a striking mill. This measure aims to increase the awareness of the region and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the nature park, the largest in Lower Saxony.
The foiled buses are mainly used on lines 270 (Huntesprinter: Wildeshausen-Oldenburg), 220 (Bookholzberg-Ganderksee) and 226 (Wildeshausen-Harpstedt-Bremen). The Oldenburger Land, Hutfilter's travel service and the Delmenhorst-Harpstedter Eisenbahn (DHE) are involved in this campaign. While the DHE voluntarily participated in the initiative, the other two bus companies were included due to a tender clause. "We look forward to the visibility of the foiled buses at the district house," said Oliver Knagge, managing director of the nature park.
design and other actions
The foil was carried out by the “Team Iken” company in Wildeshausen, with the creative design of the agency “M01N” from Aurich. The costs for the foiling have been covered by the nature park, and there are already further promotions to promote the region. This includes the display of excursion routes and tips on the displays of the buses. There are also suggestions to connect bust tours to train journeys of railway fans.
The Wildeshauser Geest nature park captivates with its idyllic river valleys, lakes, forests with oaks, bogs, heath areas and sand dunes. The region offers a variety of construction and ground monuments, water and windmills as well as museums with action days for children. Visitors can take excursions with the steam locomotive "Jan Harpstedt", the Goldenstedter Moorbahn or the horse carriage. Culinary guests can enjoy regional and international cuisine in water mills and sheepfall cafes. In addition, shopping opportunities on farmers or directly from the farm are waiting for visitors.
For the journey, optimal transport connections are available. The region can be reached by car via the A1, A7, A28 and A29 motorways as well as by rail connections via Bremen, Oldenburg, Delmenhorst and Osnabrück. Good connecting stations in the nature park include Bassum, Syke, Twistringen, Wildeshausen, Ganderkesee, Hude, Huntlosen and Sandkrug.
The initiatives to increase the awareness of the holiday region form a further step towards the positive development of the nature park, as well as the information on the website Kreiszeitung and national landscapes illustrate.
