Bicycle thieves caught in Linden-Mitte: Witness saves two wheels!

In a dramatic incident in Hanover, two suspected bicycle thieves were arrested on Wednesday evening, September 18, 2024. An attentive witness observed how the two 14-year-old youngsters broke up two bicycles on Davenstedter Strasse around 11:30 p.m. and fled with them. Her sharp look led to immediate action: she alerted the police, who immediately initiated a search.

Just a few minutes later, the young people could be caught by the officials. The stolen bicycles were secured nearby. After completing the police measures, the two teenagers were allowed to leave the guard accompanied by their parents. Witnesses and bicycle owners are asked to report to the Ronnenberg police commissioner.
