On March 13, 2025, a tragic traffic accident occurred in the Heide district in Hanover, in which a 78-year-old man was hit by a car. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. when the driver, a 59-year-old man, could not slow down in time to prevent the collision. Despite immediate resuscitation attempts at the scene of the accident, the 78-year-old died.
