Under the direction of the newly used trainer Michael Jarzombek, who implemented a new system (3-4-3) after only three training sessions, the team showed a concentrated performance.

The change of coach took place after Dennis Kleinschmidt, who had scored 25 points from 21 games since the beginning of the season, was released from his post. Under Kleinschmidt's management, Bavenstedt currently occupies 14th place in the league and has only scored five points in the last nine games. Michael Jarzombek, who was a player at SV Bavenstedt from 2006 to 2007, is supported by sports director Darius Schwientek, who has confidence in his skills.
